Your organization sets a launch date for the challenge, and WiDonate will work with you to build a launch plan starting 6 weeks prior to launch. Once the challenge begins, donors join by downloading the WiDonate app and securely linking their debit/credit card. Their everyday purchases are automatically rounded up to the nearest dollar. At the end of each week, donors approve their total donation, which goes directly to your organization.

Yes. WiDonate uses a service called Plaid (trusted by companies like Venmo, SoFi, and Betterment) to securely connect their desired credit or debit card. Donations are processed through a service called Stripe that routes the donation amount directly to you. Neither WiDonate nor your organization ever sees or stores donor banking information.

Donations are processed weekly through a service called Stripe (trusted by companies like Google, Amazon, and Lyft). The roundup amounts that are approved by donors are deposited directly into your nonprofit’s designated bank account. You’ll have full visibility into transactions.

We're invested in your success, so we only charge a percentage from the total donations raised from a challenge. Stripe will also apply standard payment processing fees. We keep costs transparent so your organization receives the maximum possible donation amount.
